FİRST MEETİNG ANAMUR/TURKEY

TURKEY REPORT

EXPLANATION: After our Project called “TRECON” The Real Colors of Nature (2011-1-TR-COM06-27350-1)had been confirmed we started to research about accommodation for our partners because as we had predicated in our application form the first mobility was to Turkey. We facilitated the local transportation by the help of our municipality, We facilitated the area and the young trees for our European Culture Forest by the help of Forest Management of our town.We contacted with a publicity agent and prepared a name plate for our forest.  Our students prepared a drama  about caretta carettas to take attention for changes in nature. We sent our invitation cards and hotel reservations to  the partners.

Meeting in Anamur

1st day- Monday:  Our partners arrived Anamur on the 24th of October.. We noted our telephone numbers on invitation cards so that they could call us when they needed, We met them at the bus station and took them to their hotel. Eleven teachers (one person from Germany, one from Spain,three from Italy .three from England and three people from Latvia) came to Anamur for the first meeting. Poland and Hungary couldn’t join the meeting as they couldn’t get the money from their National Agency.

2nd day - Tuesday: We took the partners from their hotels and came to  our school.We made presentations about our project ,about our school, our town and country. We discussed and decided on  mobility dates  and talked about activities.

3rd day -Wednesday: We went to the area named Azıtepe where we planted 2650 young trees  We did trekking.  We had a picnic in a camp and picnic area called Pullu. We had a trip to  Mamure Castlei Anemurion Ancient City and a banana gren house and a banana instituation.

4th day Thurday:  Official visits to official instutions were done. Our partners visited some lessons at our school, A  cortege was done with involvement of teachers and students to draw attention of town people for global warming.  A short speech was made about global warming both in English and Turkish in public square. In the afternoon. Our students performed a drama about global warming and Folk Dances of Anamur and Adana regions. A conference was presented about global warming at our school

In the evening we had a final dinner with our partners and gave presents to each other.

5th day Friday:  It was the departure day for our partners. We sent off our partners. Only our partner from Germany went on staying in Anamur for another project meeting.

Result: We had a nice project meeting without any trouble  All activities that were denoted in application of project were done .

SECOND MEETING (MUNICH) REPORT

Explanation: The second meeting of Our project, TRECON The Real Colours of Nature, marked with the nuber 2011-1-TR-COM06-27350-1 was carried out in Germany-Munchen  between the dates 13th and 17th of February 2012. As the coordinator country we have participated the meeting with seven teachers. Before the meeting date, we have obtained green passports for our six tearchers and grey passport for our English teacher. Then, We have had our legal permission papers necessary to get out of the country from our provincial and sub-provincial competent authorities. We have obtained the necessary information about the country and the school we will be visiting.  We have some meetings in our school to make division of labour among ourselves while making inquiries about the places that we had been  pre-informed by the program and invitation card. Having a teacher, who has graduated from German Language Department was another advantage for our group.  Before going out of the country, I have sent an e-mail to Turkish ambassadorship in Munchen  to give them information about the dates and the hotel we will be staying. The officer in the ambassadorship has told me that he had  lived  in Anamur for a long time and he knew here. Later on, he has called me and we had some conversation about the city and places with him. Honestly, these conversations brought some self-confidence about our journey.

 

1st Day (Monday): Access to the country and accommodation: We reached to the hotel about nine PM. We have met with other participant teacher from other countries. We haven't met any problems during our journey or finding the hotel. In the meeting there were 29 participating teachers from Turkey (us) 7  and from other project-partner countries; England 2, Spain 3, Italy 3, Poland 3, Latvia 2, Hungary 9.

2nd day (Tuesday): ın the morning, we have reached the host school, Shrobenhausen. Firstly, we have had a meeting there to have everyone meet with each other and deepen the social integrity of the project group. All of the schools from every country, one by one, had brought some drawings which were made by their own students and main themes of which were global warming and nature. We have delivered these pictures to Mr. Schneidt. We have get in and joined the lectures, participated in the conference prepared by the students about the school, the region and global warming problem. In the afternoon, we have joined the conference about The region (Baveria Region) and global warming in the institute of implementation which has been working coordinatively with other departments of the Environmental Museum.

3rd day (Wednesday): After getting together at 08.00 AM. in front of the hotel, we went to Nymphenburg, Environmental Museum and performed our pre-planned navigation and excursion there. We have witnessed that so many students were learning thei subjects by doing, participating, living within pleasure. In the afternoon, BMW factory and the area where the first olympic stadium were constucted were walked around.

 

4th Day (Thursday): We had sightseeing around the area in the centre of Munich such as the public squares, buildings and the churches which have historical importance.

 

5th day (Friday): The day for our departure from Germany: We had no problems in anyway throughout the process of our accommodation, transportation or travel.

 

As a Result: We have completed our meeting in Germany without any problems. Because the program had been pre-given to us; we had knew where and what time we should be ready. Our group has carried out all the duties in a definite harmony within a conciousness of responsibility and firendship as a total. After we came to Anamur, every person got in our Germany meeting has prepared a report consisting of his or her own views and perspectives about that meeting. We had no problems Throughout our meetings and during the travel.

 

THIRD MEETİNG  POLAND

 

The 3rd Meeting Poland (Lübliniec) Report

Explanation: The 3rd meeting of TRECON (The Real Colors of Nature), numbered 2011-1-TR-COM06-27350-1 was held at the school of Szkola Podstawova in Lübliniec, Poland between 12th and 16th of March, 2012. Two teachers from Turkey, nine from Hungary, 2 from Germany, 2 from United Kingdom, 2 from Italy and three from Spain attended the meeting. We handled with our English teacher’s service passport before going abroad. We got official permission when we got the invitation and reservation for the hotel. We bought our tickets. We got some information of the destination country.

On Monday – the 1st day: The contact person met us at the airport. We reached the Hotel Zamek at 01:00 a.m. on Monday. We have no difficulty in transferring the hotel. The hotel we stayed was nice.

On Tuesday – the 2nd day: We visited the school at 8 o’clock and had a meeting with the other teachers for about an hour on the 2nd day. We attended a conference about ecological balance and global warming. We went hiking after the conference. We travelled to the Czestochowa and Jasna Gora in the afternoon. In the evening we got together again for the dinner. The folk dance team of the school (named HALKA) performed local dances.

On Wednesday – the 3rd day: We travelled to the Oswich and Krekow on the 3rd day. On the way to the Krekow, we visited some churches and natural park. We visited the concentration camp in Oswich, where the Nazi slaughtered the Jewish.

On Thursday – the 4th day: We visited the school and had a meeting about project activities. We all agreed that the date of the meeting in Latvia, which we had decided before as 07/01/2013 was not the appropriate for other participating countries so it was agreed it would be better if the meeting in Latvia would be held in March. We decided that the Kite Festival, an activity of the project, would be held in United Kingdom. We visited some classes in the school. A musical concert and drama was performed by the pupils. The local food was introduced. In the afternoon, we visited the first Wooden Church in Koszecin.

On Friday – The 5th day: It was the departure day. Iza, the contact person of Poland, took all participants to the airport.

The Conclusion: Two teachers from Turkey participated in the meeting. We had no difficulties in transportation and accommodation. The activities were carried out as it was planned.
